Summary
Born in Manhattan, NY; attended the St. Joseph School for the Deaf, Bronx, NY for a year, then entered mainstreamed public schools through high school. Attended the National Technical Institute for the Deaf 1 year, then transferred to the College of Fine and Applied Arts at the Rochester Institute of Technology, graduating with a BFA in 1985. Worked for various corporations, in-house departments, and studios for 7 years, then returned to RIT to graduate with an MFA in 1995. Became a professor in the graphic design program at Gallaudet University.
