Summary
Born as Kathleen Stinson; attended Manitoba School for the Deaf 1908-1918 and Gallaudet College 1918-1922. Taught at the Manitoba School 1922-1924, Montana School for the Deaf 1924-1929, and then the Saskatchewan School for the Deaf 1931-1943 until forced out by oralism. Instrumental in the founding of the Saskatoon Association of the Deaf. In 1943, became the thrid wife of the American Rev. A.H.J. Staubiz and lived with him in the U.S. until his death in 1957. She moved back to Canada and remarried to George Riley, deaf.
