Born as Lily Annabel Bicksler at Fredericksburg, PA; graduated the old Pennsylvania Institution for the deaf in Philadelphia in 1888. Gallaudet College 1889-graduation in 1894. Married Harvey D. Delong, another Gallaudet graduate, in 1894, but he died in 1897. She subsequently remarried in 1902 to Brewster Randolph Allabough.
