Summary
Born in Prince Edward Island; deaf at 8 from spinal meningitis. Gruaduated high school 1954 in Summerside, PEI, then worked as a truck driver for a Labrador logging camp. In 1958, became a machinist in Halifax, NS, then worked as a dental technician for his last 24 years. Active in deaf community work for almost 35 years. Married Geraldine "Gerry" Joyce Young. Died of a heart attack.
