Summary
Born at Mouline, France; attended the Pereire School for the Deaf in Paris. Awarded the standing of Officer de Palme by the French Government; exhibited in the Louisiana Exposition. Works include decorative figures on the Pont des Alexander, Paris; bronze statue L'Honneur Dominant la Discords on the Grand Palais des Beaux-Arts, Paris; and a medallion of Rev. Dr. Thomas Gallaudet. Worked in New York for a time in the Karl Bitler Studios, on sculptures commissioned for the 1901 Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, NY.
