Summary
Born at West Chester, PA; deafened from meninigitis at age 14. Attended regular schools and graduated Oberlin College, OH, in 1954. Earned a master's in medical technology from Wayne State University, then later entered the Ph.D. program there, completing it with a perfect 4.0 average. She then worked as a researcher at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, before going to Albert Einstein College of Medicine, NYC, in 1975. Published many research reports and professional articles and book chapters. Died at New York City.
