Summary
As a Gallaudet student, managed to get into the U.S. Army during World War II, despite his deafness, and served as an intelligence clerk in the U.S. Postwar, returned to Gallaudet, graduating in 1948. He eventually became superintendent of the Washington State School for the Deaf.
