Summary
Born deaf at Shellbrook, SK and graduated the Saskatchewan School for the Deaf, then took business courses at a community college. Worked several years in a dental lab and for a printing company before her children were born. Went back to school in the early 1990s to study ASL and Deaf culture, then taught ASL for the Saskatoon Catholic School Board from 1995 onward. Active in local deaf events, including two protests surrounding the R.J.D. Williams School for the Deaf.
