Summary
Deaf at 13 from spinal meningitis; Ontario School for the Deaf classes in Hamilton 1942-1945, then a local technical school. Recruited to play for the Hamilton Tigers Football Club semi-pro team 1948-1950, then full pro with the Ottawa Rough Riders team 1951-1952. Traded to the Saskatchewan Roughriders team 1953-1954, then had to retire due to injuries. Went into drafting for an aircraft factory, then worked for a glass company 1956 until retirement in 1992.
