Summary
Born hard of hearing in Israel; her family emigrated to Canada in 1991. Attended mainstream schools in Israel, then the Mackay Centre for the Deaf in Montreal; graduated in 1999 from the International Academy of Design. During her high school and college years, she was counselor at several summer camps and other programs for deaf youth; in 2001, she began work as an ASL teacher.
