Summary
Deaf at age 7; graduated Missouri School for the Deaf and the National Technical Institute for the Deaf. Performed for a time with the National Theatre of the Deaf and guest roles in several television shows. Winner of the "Tony" Award in 1977. Performer of modern dance; co-starred in a short film, The Ride (1997). Founder in 1998 of a company called United Signema Network, Inc., to produce cable TV programs featuring deaf and hard of hearing actors.
