Summary
Born at Toronto; attended regular classes in a parochial school 1960-1968, high school at Alterwood Collegiate Institute 1968-1973. Worked for the Canadian Red Cross 2 years, studied education at Samon Fraser University 1976-1978, then A.A. degree from Kwantlen College, Surrey, BC 1979-1981. Worked as an illustrator for 1 year in Surrey, then to Botswana in 1982-1986 as an illustrator for that country's national museum; also taught art classes for deaf children and did illustrations for Botswana's 1983 Christmas postage stamps. Returned to Canada, settling in Windsor, ON and designed instructional materials for a Montessori school 1986-1989, then from 1989 onward worked as a graphic artist for the Essex Region Conservation Authority; also did freelance work through her "San Design" design company.
