Summary
Hard of hearing. Born at Ciudad Guzman; in early adolescence, lost his left hand and had his hearing and sight impaired by an explosion. Studied architecture at the Academia de San Carlos, then switched studies to agromony and cartography before going into art. After a few years in the United States, returned to Mexico City where he executed several murals and panels, as well as some commissions in the U.S. Considered one of Mexico's three main mural painters.
