Summary
Sometimes named in deaf periodicals as St. George Tucker Randolph, but in legal documents of his time he is called John St. George Randolph. Born deaf at Bizarre, VA; student at the Braidwood (England) and Paris schools; after 1814, was in the Philadelphia Hospital for the Insane and in the Maryland Hospital (Baltimore). After 25 years, lived with Wyatt Cardwell in Charlottesville, VA; died either Dec. 4, 1857, or Jan.4, 1858.
