Summary
One of the first deaf persons to earn a degree in dentistry. Deafened at age 12; went to the Michigan School for the Deaf and graduated Gallaudet College (1902). Went to Georgia Tech to study civil engineering, but switched to dentistry at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, earning his doctorate. President of the Oklahoma Dental Association.
