Nye-Petrone, Sharlene Elizabeth

Born at Hamilton, ON and deaf at age 2 from meningitis. Queensdale Preschool in Hamilton for 2 years, then Ontario School for the Deaf 14 years until graduation 1989. B.A. from Gallaudet University and M.S. from Western Maryland College. Became a secondary school teacher at the E.C. Drury School for the Deaf; there, met and married Robert Edward Petrone, also deaf.
