Summary
Born deaf. Student at the Royal Institute for the Deaf, Paris. Most famous work is his statue of Charles Michel de l'Epee at the Institute. Others of his sculptures appeared in public squares and town halls all over France, including two at the entrance to the Hotel de Ville (Town Hall) of Paris. His brothers, Ernest and Georges, were also deaf artists.
