Summary
Hearing. Born to deaf parents in Delavan, WI and graduated Delavan High School, then the University of Wisconsin about 1942. M.A. from Gallaudet College, 1947, then taught at California School for the Deaf, Berkeley, where he became scoutmaster of the school's Boy Scout troop. Also heavily involved in the evolution and professionalization of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. Appointed CSD principal in 1965, later adding editorship of the school newspaper. Led the reorganization of the school's museum. Retired about 1984.
