Summary
One of the members of the first class (1855) in what is now the Iowa School for the Deaf. Born at Baden, Germany; her family emigrated to Iowa, where she eventually entered the Iowa School at age 22. Later employed at the school as a domestic worker, she remained there as an employee until her death at age 49. Was buried in the school cemetery.
