Summary
Born deaf at Strathclair, Manitoba; graduated the Saskatchewan School for the Deaf in 1959. Trained as a carpenter at Red River Community College and worked as a cabinet maker for 5 years, another 5 years as a binder, then in 1973 became Boeing Canada's first deaf employee, leading the company to hire over 35 additional deaf workers. Active in deaf organizations and an award-winning photographer. Married Edith Irene Ericson in 1965.
