Zazove, Philip

Deafened at age 3; bachelor's degree from Northwestern University; M.D. from Washington University (St. Louis); residence at the University of Utah Medical Center. Had a private practice for 8 years in Salt Lake City; assistant professor of family practice at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Autobiography is When the Phone Rings, My Bed Shakes (1993). In 2003, campaigned for election to the Michigan House of Representatives.
