Titze, Johan Gerhard Gottlieb

Born at Hogbo; deaf at 5 from scarlet fever. Entered the Manhem school for the deaf in Stockholm in 1856. After graduation worked as a carpenter, then in 1863 became an assistant teacher at the Manhem school. Taught at the Lund school for the deaf (today the +stervsngskolan), 1876-1891, then at the Karlskrona school for the deaf, 1891until his death.
