Summary
A member of the first class (1855) in what is now the Iowa School for the Deaf. Born deaf in Indiana; his sister Mary Lee (q.v.) was also deaf. Attended the Iowa institution for the deaf 1855-1858. Died young from "consumption" (tuberculosis).
