Johansen, Elizabeth B. "Liz"

Probably born deaf from maternal Bright's disease, though deafness not discovered until age 3. Attended regular schools and a hearing college. Worked as a physical education teacher and business education teacher at the Beverly School for the Deaf, MA, until marriage. After her 3 children grew up, returned to work for a computer printing company as a "computer checker" (proofreader).
