Attended the Kendall School for the Deaf, then worked as a printer for the Washington Post and the New York Times before going to work for the U.S. Government Printing Office, from which he retired in 1996. Became full-time executive director of Gallaudet University's Bison Booster Club for six years before retiring again in 2002. Served as president of the Metropolitan Washington Association of the Deaf. Died in Washington, DC.
