Kober, Lori

Graduated Gallaudet University in 1990, then took another degree from the University of the District of Columbia in mortuary science. Worked part-time for funeral homes in Wisconsin during breaks from college, then took her first full-time job at a funeral home in Silver Spring, MD, 1993; licensed mortician in Maryland and Virginia as well as on the national level. Moved to Vermillion, SD, in 1995, becoming licensed in SD. Believed to be the world's first deaf woman to become a licensed mortician.
