Mayers, Gary

Born deaf in Los Angeles, CA; attended the Central Institute for the Deaf, then graduated from Santa Monica High School. 1982 B.S.L.A. degree in landscape architecture and sculpture from California State Polytechnic University, Ponoma. His sculptures have been exhibited throughout the United States and in Britain and Hong Kong; it is also in the permanent collection of major art galleries including the Museum Beelden aan Zee in The Netherlands. One of his works hangs on display in College Hall at Gallaudet University.
