Hearing. Graduated Bliss Electrical School in 1897, earned a B.S. (1902) and an electrical engineering degree (1903) from George Washington University. Appointed to the Gallaudet College faculty in 1894 to teach natural science, mathematics, and electrical engineering, remaining at Gallaudet until his death.
