Summary
Born in Ontario; deaf at 9 from scarlet fever; went to the Ontario Institution for the deaf 1885-1892. Married Mary Jane Bailey in 1904, then moved west to a homestead in Saskatchewan. 1918-1926, lived at Punnichy, Sask., moved back to their original farm area onto a new farm until 1945 and retirement.
