Kroschinski, Noha Mouallem

Born at Kab-Elais, Lebanon and deafened at 19 months in a 3-story fall onto a concrete surface. With her mother, emigrated to Canada in 1958, settling in Edmonton, AB. Education began in the Edmonton public school system, but in 1970 she transferred to the Alberta School for the Deaf and graduated there. Employment included dental assistant and bank clerk before taking beauty courses and beoming a hairdresser. Winner of the 1976 Miss Deaf Canada pageant. Married Kelly Kroschinski in 1990.
