Summary
Deafened at age 3; home schooled at first, then one of the first deaf children in Hong Kong to go to school. Childhood art talent turned into formal training in Chinese painting in an art academy and at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, in addition to tutoring by individual well-known Chinese artists. Works exhibited and sold all over Hong Kong. Emigrated to the U.S. in 1977, settling in Oregon. Worked for a bank while continuing to paint and exhibit.
