Summary
Born at Rochester, NY; deaf at age 7; attended the Cincinnati Oral School and the Rochester School for the Deaf. Foreman of a small weekly newspaper in Seattle, WA; teacher and athletic director at the Washington State School for the Deaf. Later, worked at Goodyear in Akron, OH and for the Gary post in Indiana; in his last years, was ad compositor for a Chicago newspaper. Prolific author of articles for the deaf press and promotor of deaf sports events. Married Frieda Bauman. Died in Chicago of a heart attack.
