Jackson, Jennifer Anita

Born deaf at North York, ON. Clairlea Public School in Toronto for 1 year, then 3 years at Clarke School for the Deaf, Northampton, MA. Mainstreamed public schools in Oakville, ON, then St. Paul's High School and Holy Trinity High School, then grades 11-12 at Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf. Finally graduated high school in a mainstream class at Dante Alighieri Academy with interpreters. Earned a B.A. from York University, Toronto, and 1999-2002 studied law at Osgoode Hall Law School, Toronto. Worked as a teacher's assistant 1997-1999 in ASL courses taught at York University.
