Summary
Born deaf in Aberystwyth, Wales and educated at the Royal Schools for the Deaf in Manchester until age 18. Apprenticed in mechanical dentistry, but was unhappy in that field and in 1922 became a missioner to the deaf at Wolverhampton. Additionally ppointed missioner to South Staffordshire and Shropshire in 1924. In 1950, he transferred to the diocese of Guilford, covering all of Surrey. Became a deacon in 1954 and later ordained a priest, serving until retirement in 1963. Active in deaf organizations, incluuding offices in the British Deaf and Dumb Association. Died in Amersham, Buckinghamshire.
