Born deaf at Trumbull, TX; attended the Pilot School for the Deaf in Dallas, then public schools in Ferris, TX through high school graduation. B.A. from Baylor University, M.A. from Gallaudet University, and Ph.D. from University of Texas. Teacher of the deaf for over 20 years in various schools.
