Bray, Deanne

Born deaf at Canoga Park, CA; B.A. from California State University, Northridge. Taught science and mathematics to deaf high school students, and had almost completed a master's degree in education in 2002, but put it on hold for an acting career. Actress in deaf theater since her early teens, including Prism West and Deaf West theaters; also made a few guest appearances on TV series. 2002-2005, starred as the deaf title character in the TV series Sue Thomas, F.B.Eye (loosely based on the real-life Sue Thomas, q.v.). Married to Troy Kotsur, also a deaf actor.
