Sandford, Robyn Barbara Janet

Born deaf at Peterborough, ON; E.C. Drury School for the Deaf 1963-graduation 1976; B.A. degree from Gallaudet College, 1980 and M.Ed. from Western Maryland College, 1981, plus specialist certificates and credentials from York University and University of Toronto. First deaf ballerina in Ontario and possibly in Canada; while at Gallaudet, became the first deaf member of the Washington City Ballet Company. Taught at the E.C. Drury School, and authored some ASL poetry.
