Keller, Helen Oblanzy

Born as Helen Oblanzy and later married deaf man Martin Keller, who died of leukemia in 1993. Resident of Greenfield, WI, she lived in retirement with her daughter Mary, also deaf (as were her other 7 children). Keller attained notoriety in 2006 not only because of her name but because of her involvement in a dispute with condo association neighbors, who said Keller's dog barked constantly and attacked them. Keller struck back with accusations of hyperbole and "nagging and condescending tone"; the dispute degenerated into childish behavior on both sides.
