Summary
Attended Gallaudet College for 3 years, Class of 1891, but did not graduate. At first horticulturist for the Cleveland, OH park system, he eventually became City Entomologist. Was the first scientist to suggest the use of airplanes for dusting or spraying crops and forests with insecticides. Honorary M.S. degree from Gallaudet in 1924.
