Summary
Born at Toronto, deaf by 17 months old. Received extensive auditory-verbal therapy for over 10 years, separately from attending a variety of public schools in Toronto. Has acted in several TV shows and films, including Clown White, Bridge to Silence, a major role as Mabel Bell in the TV mini-series The Sound and the Silence, and a co-starring role in Crazy Moon, for which she had to learn sign language. A fine arts student at York University for a time beginning in 1989. Also became an exhibited painter of landscapes and portraits.
