Summary
Born at Seattle, WA; deaf between 18 and 21 months, probably from meningitis. Attended regular schools, including a prep school; graduated Columbia University in New York City and received his master's (1971) from the same university. Began work for Price Waterhouse; later to Northrop Corporation, eventually becoming manager of corporate audit. Left Northrop after 10 years to go into private auditing independently and as part of a partnership. Received a cochlear implant in 1990.
