Wales, Billy "Rusty"

Born deaf in Hollywood, CA; "played" a bit part in a movie at the age of 1 month. Attended the John Tracy Clinic, then went to regular public schools until transferring to a residential school for the deaf at age 12. Graduated Gallaudet University, then M.A. from California State University, Northridge. Worked at various times as a teacher, curriculum specialist, project director, assitant principal, rehabilitation counselor, telecommunications supervisor, and state agency administrator.
