Born deaf at Garfield, NJ; graduated New Jersey School for the Deaf, 1963. Graduated Gallaudet College (1968) with a major in library science. Performed with the National Theatre of the Deaf; had recurring roles on TV's Sesame Street and on Search for Tomorrow, et al. Although she never actually worked as a librarian, she played one in a recurring role on TV's Sesame Street. Married to Edmund Waterstreet (q.v.).
