Summary
Born deaf on a farm near Lemberg, SK; Saskatechwan School for the Deaf 1946-graduation 1959. Worked for a time as a seamstress until marrying Walter Manchul (deaf) in 1968. As Usher's Syndrome gradually robbed her of more and more sight, she became a certified literary Braille transcriber from about 1983 onward. She also did much quilting and other needlecraft despite her reduced vision.
