Summary
Born at Hull, QC; illness left her deaf at age 4. Educated at L'Institut des Sourdes de Montreal, graduating 1963. Took certificate courses in data processing and in 1964 worked as an input operator for Bell Canada and Blue Cross Health Insurance. Later she worked as a film editor, mostly on a freelance basis. About 1972, she began working as a documentary technician for the library of the University of Quebec and remained in that position over 30 years. Married to Peter Lamontagne, also deaf.
