Case, Lucius W.

Late-deafened. Born in Mexico to American missionary parents. Graduated Pomona College (1910) and Ann Arbor Medical School (1914). Deafened quickly after arrival in the Philippines to work at a missionary hospital there, but continued working there for 3 years before returning to the U.S. After further studies in bacteriology and pathology, went to work for a Los Angeles laboratory and eventually became head of the department.
