Born deaf at Edmonton, AB; attended Alberta School for the Deaf 1969-graduation in 1981. Grant MacEwan Community College 1981-1984; sign language instructor at the Associated Commercial Traveler's Centre and other locations. Began competition swimming at age 3; participated in 1973 World Summer Games for the Deaf, taking 4 bronze medals; at the 1977 World Games, won one gold and two silver medals; in the 1980 World Games she captured 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.
