Summary
Entered the California School for the Deaf, Berkeley in 1946, graduating 1960. Worked as a house cleaner both before and after graduation, then began buying, repairing, and renting out smallVictorian-era apartment buildings in San Francisco. Later bought a ranch near Stockton, CA. From the late 1970s, became involved with and the chief volunteer worker for the newly-established museum of the California School for the Deaf, Berkeley/Fremont, and established a charitable trust to support the programs of that school just before his death from a serious illness.
