Lawrence, Kathern Bernice Geldart

Probably born deaf (though it was not discovered until age 2) at Moncton, NB. Entered the Halifax School for the Deaf at age 7 until 1961, then the new Interprovincial School for the Deaf for 4 years before entering a public school near home and then finally graduating Moncton High School. B.A. from Gallaudet College, 1972, and master's degree from Western Maryland College. Teacher at the Alberta School for the Deaf her entire professional life until retirement in 2001.
