Turner, Tracy Lynn

Hard of hearing. Attended a unit for the hearing impaired within a regular school in Sheffield, England, but left school and home at age 15, traveling the country and working for a time as a prostitute. After that she was generally unemployed, but hung out with truckers, selling her "favors". She was found dead on a country lane with clothes, duffle bag and hearing aid missing. In 1997, Alun Kyte (hearing) was arrested for a rape, and DNA evidence matched him to Turner's rape and murder. Kyte was convicted in March 2000 of two murders, including Turner, and given two life sentences on top of the seven he was already serving for the rape.
